Kunne ikke lese boken pga svært komprimert tekst og unormalt små bokstaver - en murstein av en ‘pocketbok’ i billigutgave som bare kan fornærme den prisbelønte forfatteren, og avskrekke en håpefull leser.

Seems to me it's a very good account of the pretty rapid destruction of the western USA native cultures. Some get no detail (Comanches for example), but nonetheless I found very good. It's along time since I read 'Bury my heart at Wounded Knee', so a re-read from a different author of the same range of material was very good.

Well written, even handed account of the longest war in American history - the Indian wars of 1860-1890. Compelling and thought provoking, with heroes and villains on both sides of the conflict. Highly recommended.

Important history (&, like any history, will be forgotten (or never known) without at least some measure of study).
