The Brave Heart Fund teamed up with Lebanese fashion house Sarah's Bag for the design of an exclusivecapsule collection of hand-crafted bags for Brave Heart's'Hayet Albi' which was unveiled at Sarah's Bag Boutique on May 23. The collaboration was launched on the occasion of Beirut Design Week 2016 whose theme this year centered on"Growing Sustainability".
Elaborating on her support of the Brave Heart Fund, Sarah Beydoun, founder andcreative designer ofSarah's Bag, explained, "We chose the Beirut Design Week platform to highlight the positive impact design can haveon the community and send a message to all professionals in the field that theirinvolvement in design and artistic direction could be very beneficialfor NGOs". She said, "Every business, small or medium, should have a purpose that goes beyond profit. Once you center your efforts on 'doing good', you are rewarded with both personal and professional success."

Over the last 13 years, the Brave Heart Fund has raised funds through donations, sponsorships, events and partnerships to cover the medical and surgical expenses of over 2,800 children suffering from Congenital Heart Disease. In Lebanon alone, more than 700 babies are born with malformations to the heart every year.
Under the theme of "Doing well by doing good", all proceeds from the sales of the limited edition Sarah's Bag collection for Brave Heart's 'Hayet Albi',featuring totes, casual and evening clutches and boxes, will benefit the Brave Heart Fund which strives to ensure that 'No child should die of heart disease because of a lack of funds.' VIPs, members of the pressand bloggers were privy to the exclusive preview which will remain on display at the Sarah's Bag boutique in Tabaris.
